Dog Rescued After Her Owner Makes A Facebook Plea For Someone To Shoot Her

Earlier this month, a Texas woman made a startling plea on her Facebook. She asked her friends to shoot her dog.

The post said:

“I need someone to come shoot my dog. No one here has the heart to do it. We will provide the gun.”

The woman’s reasoning for this shocking request was that she no longer had time to care for the dog, named Cinnamon, and was upset by how often the pup got into her trash.

Unsurprisingly, people were disturbed by her post and it soon garnered attention from outside her circle of Facebook friends. Local animal control officers quickly swooped in and rescued Cinnamon.

The officers took her to Nicholas Pet Haven, where she received a full checkup. Thankfully, she had no medical issues. She is now in foster care and waiting for her forever home.

Her former owners have denied all requests to speak with the media and have not been charged by police.

You can donate to Nicholas Pet Haven via their website to help Cinnamon and other dogs like her.
