Even though I think my dog Levi is the cutest four-pawed being in the universe, there’s no denying he has some stinky breath (and by stinky I mean the worst). At this point it would be easier for me to pick each hair off of my fur-covered couch than to clean my dog’s teeth. The same goes for our office dog Andi who loves to show off her shiny but smelly chompers.
It’s not to say I haven’t tried to clean Levi’s teeth before, he just hates me putting my hands near his mouth. I’ve bathed and brushed him trying to mask the smell, but there seems to be no real way of getting rid of it other than going straight to the source. That’s why I was so excited to find out about WoofMints™ and see if they actually work.
“I’ve sniffed a lot of butts and NOTHING comes close to this…”
When I first heard about WoofMints™ I was curious to learn more about how the heck they work. I mean really, how could these teeny tiny little green balls could make such an impact on my dog’s smelly breath?
WoofMints™ are small gel capsules that destroy bad breath by utilizing all-natural ingredients, like peppermint. The mints should ALWAYS be mixed with food or treats so they are swallowed and not chewed. Once we mixed it with one of office pup Ziggy’s favorite treats, the mint actually did get rid of his dog breath.
WoofMints™ are both vet-approved and made in the USA. The mints work when the organic peppermint and parsley oils dissolve in your dog’s stomach. The best results are expected in about 7 days after consecutive use. Depending on which your pup prefers, WoofMints™ can be mixed in with your dog’s food or with their favorite treat. We recommend pill pops or peanut butter.
And as a super helicopter pup parent, it was good to know that the mints are made with all-natural ingredients. Ingredients include: purified water, starch, glycerin, carageenan, organic sunflower oil, organic peppermint oil, and parsley oil. Let the face-licking begin! (At least the non stinky kind. :P)
