Molly Sumner CDBC, CPDT-KSA, CBATI, is the owner and head trainer of Kindred Companions LLC. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Behavior Consultant with a deep passion for the human animal bond. She is a firm believer that any dog can be trained and that every owner can enjoy the rich relationship found in training their dog. Molly Sumner, CDBC, CPDT-KSA, CBATI, continues to challenge herself through continuing education as well as training her own dogs. She made history in 2013 as the first person in the world to put a competition title on a New Guinea Singing Dog, possibly the oldest, rarest and most primitive dog on the planet with a population still wild on the island of Papua New Guinea. Despite her busy schedule, with her Shiba Inu, Saphira, a certified Therapy Dog, Sumner participates in a reading program at a local Elementary school. When called upon, Sumner also advises local rescues so that the reactive dogs in their care can become good candidates for adoption, giving them a second chance.
