Gouzai, an Akita who lives in China, lost her litter of six puppies in an accident. Gouzai’s owners say that she was inconsolable after the loss of her pups. Her heart started to heal when her owners brought three piglets to the farm. Gouzai began to nurse them and even clean them, as if they were her puppies.
Now the piglets follow the Akita around and treat her the same as they would their own mother.
We are so glad this wonderful, yet unusual, family has each other!
