So You’re Moving to a New Dog House…
Hello, Henry and Penny here (@henryandpenny on Instagram). We recently moved from the Big Apple, NYC to sunny Tampa, Florida.

It was a hectic trip and we hated the fact that we had to leave our play groups, French Bulldog meet ups and our apartment that we both had spent our whole lives in! But little did we know what was in store for us!

Our humans tried to keep us comfortable with all of the boxes cluttering our tiny apartment. When it was finally time to leave, we were packed into bags and were off in the giant 16′ truck!

We had to stop every couple of hours in order for us to do our biz-nasty, but we got to see new places and experience the weather changing constantly.

We stopped at a hotel in a small town in North Carolina and caused a ruckus! Then we made our final journey to Florida..it didn’t matter to us, we slept most of the way!!

When we arrived in Florida, we got to check out our big house and HUGE fenced in backyard. THIS WAS ALL FOR US?!?! Amazing! We explored every nook and cranny and loved every second of it. That’s when all the fun started. Our humans took us everywhere with them so we could explore the Florida life! We got to go to the pool, the beach, shopping, car rides…you name it, we did it! The weather has been amazing and we love laying out in the sunshine all day long.
Our humans always made sure we were comfortable and wanted us to be happy. They kept our favorite toys and clothes with us so we had familiar sights and smells. But none of that really mattered to us. As long as we were with our humans and they kept giving us treats and belly rubs, we were comfortable!
Needless to say, we are loving the space and sun in Florida, we couldn’t ask for a better time. We love hanging out by the pool, of course with our life jackets on or else we’d sink like rocks!! So if your parents do end up moving somewhere… Whether it’s a different house on your street or across the country, just know that they’re doing it because they love you and want you to be happy!
