These sweet babies lost their mother when they were just a few weeks old. Without intervention and serious dedication, they surely would have died. Luckily, the heroic rescuers at Doggie Protective Services took in all ten pups and handraised them for over a month until they could be weaned!
Taking care of one puppy is no easy feat, but imagine tending to the needs of TEN hungry, fussy, poopy pups at a time! It took gallons of puppy formula and a heck of a lot of patience, but DPS came through.
Volunteers gave each pup a sugary-sweet candy inspired name to match their cuddly natures. Despite their difficult start, the dogs are thriving, and every last one of them have been adopted! Even sleepy little Starburst!
