Lakota the Australian Shepherd enjoyed a decade-long career in the American Kennel Club’s Agility competitions. The pup retired this year, so trainer Val led this last trip around the course.
Lakota’s moving a little slower these days, but still nails all the challenges with precision. The final tender embrace between dog and trainer shows the true bond formed over years of working closely together and sharing a deep sense of understanding and communication. Here’s to many relaxing and comfortable years of retirement for Lakota.
