A pair of Terriers were found abandoned in Hartlepool, England. A sad tail, but there’s something special about the bond between these two.

Glenn the Jack Russell is blind, and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Buzz is his guide dog. (I’m guessing by their names that they moonlight as astronauts? Get it, “moonlight”? Woof, sorry.)

Since their rescue, the pups have been staying at the nearby Stray Aid centre, where workers are delighted by the ruvvin’ duo. It is suspected that the two senior dogs may have been abandoned due to their advanced age.

Staffer Sue Bielby said:

“Buzz acts as Glenn’s eyes and it’s as simple as that. Glenn gets his confidence from Buzz. If they are separated even for a few minutes they both bark and become distressed so they would need to have a loving home together.”

Buzz helps Glenn to bed, and leads the Jack Russell to his food. Glenn can get around on his own outdoors, but Buzz helps him inside the kennel. If separated, both dogs whine and cry for each other. Stray Aid staff are hoping to find a relaxed home for the dogs, perhaps with a retired person. If you live in the UK, you could be that human hero!
