Disabled Pup Finally Finds Her Footing In The Water Thanks To Kind Humans

This adorable 10 month old, Jack Russell is Happy. Happy has cerebellar ataxia, a neurological condition common in Jack Russell’s that affects her motor reflexes.

On land, Happy easily loses balance and has a hard time with coordination, but thanks to a customized life vest made for the jolly pup, Happy is able to swim with ease!

Get those sea legs, girl!

According to her handler:

“Happy had an interesting reaction to being in the water, instead of her normal and erratic limb movements her legs actually look pretty graceful. She’s no Michael Phelps but with some modification to her life vest to make it more buoyant she may be able to swim pretty well!”

Watch the rest of Happy’s happy tail here:

Also, Happy has been adopted! Now she has a loving family to show off her floatable fashions.

tumbleThe ole’ tumble dry.
