Tiny four year old Paige has been at Carson Shelter in Gardena, California since December 16. No one knows much about her history, but we do know that this teeny pup is terrified of her shelter surroundings.

Paige is so frightened that the shelter has her listed as “rescue only.” This means she cannot be immediately adopted by a forever human. She must find a foster family first. This is because she does have some aggression and biting issues. She needs a caring and consistent hooman who can help her overcome her fear and anxiety.
There are lots of dogs out there like Paige. Dogs who are loving and sweet, but don’t know how to handle their fears. They just need someone to show them. Time is running out for Paige to find that person.
She has now been moved to the back of the shelter. It is unlikely that many people will see her here. If you watch the video below, you’ll see that poor Paige is almost okay with that. She thinks everything at the shelter is scary, even the humans. She tries to get as close to the wall of her kennel as possible. She’s hoping she can disappear and all of this horrible noise and loneliness will go away.
