It never ceases to horrify me the unbelievably heartless and disgusting ways some humans treat dogs. Whether it’s active abuse or total neglect, there’s no excuse to put a dog (or any living creature, for that matter) through the horrors Rudy has been through.
Just a few short months ago, Rudy was in horrible shape and emaciated, weighing only 22 pounds! Lucky for him, he was rescued by Rescue Dogs Rock NYC and placed in a foster home with Erin Earley-Hamilton and her rescued fighting dog Misty of Misty’s Journey.
Ever since then, Rudy’s health and happiness have been on the up and up. We are thrilled to hear he now weighs around 60 pounds and is full of life, despite his ruff past. He loves other dogs, people, and playing but is also down to just kick back and relax.
