Dogfighting Survivor DEVOURS Ice Cream Cone With The Help Of His Canine Siblings

Dogfighting Survivor DEVOURS Ice Cream Cone With The Help Of His Canine Siblings

Evan was rescued during the second largest dogfighting ring raid in U.S. history. Now he’s sharing ice cream cones with his dog siblings. Pause for tears.

On August 23rd, 2013, 367 dogs were rescued in a massive, record breaking dogfighting bust across Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama; Evan was one of the rescued. His Facebook page, Evan the Survivor, follows his journey from fighting dog to happy and loved ice cream connoisseur.

Evan, the pure black Pit Bull taking center stage in the destruction consumption of the cone, is between eight and nine years old and spent the majority of his life tethered up with atrocious care. He was left to chew on his chain, a fact that contributed to his nickname “toothless,” and, along with most of the other dogs, was emaciated and left unsheltered.

Evan definitely isn’t emaciated anymore, what with all the ice cream he’s been eating. It’s cool – he’s earned it.
