Not too long ago, we reported on a woman who made a Facebook post asking people to shoot her dog. Alarmingly, another woman has taken to Facebook with a similar request. This time, the dog’s owner threatened to shoot and taze her pup repeatedly.

Facebook users immediately contacted the Aurora Police Department in Colorado. The officers tracked down the woman and discovered the dog living in deplorable conditions.

Police Sergeant Chris Amsler said:

“[The dog was] located in a small crate, the dog was all by itself, no type food or water. The animal had been peeing in the crate and was soaked in the urine.”

Thankfully, there were no signs that the dog had been shot or tazed.

The woman, who used a pseudonym on the social media site, is facing charges of animal cruelty for keeping the dog in such terrible conditions. However, she will not face charges for her threats.

Watch a local news report about the incident:

The pup, who is only 8 months old, is being cared for by the Aurora Animal Shelter. There is no word on when the dog will be available for adoption.
