Toast and Finn are a match made in Internet heaven. Not only have they both gained Instagram fame, they’re also both puppy mill survivors. Now they’ve decided to take their love to the next level and they want to use their wedding to raise money for less fortunate pups.
Ten-year-old Toast is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel (@Toastmeetsworld) who used her cougar seduction skills to land seven-year-old Finn (@Friendsoffinn), a natty Chiweenie. The happy couple first fell in love when they attended the same Humane Society charity gala with their pawrents.
Finn went the traditional route when it came time to pop the question. He asked Toast’s daddy, Josh Ostrovsky (aka The Fat Jewish), for permission to wed his lovely daughter, then got down on one paw in Central Park. They will be joined in holy pet-trimony this coming January in New York City.
Toast fancies herself a fashionista, and is planning a red carpet event with only the finest doggy couture. Luckily for Ostrovsky and Finn’s mom, Amanda Hearst, Zola Wedding Registry has offered to host the arf-fair.
Proceeds from the wedding and gift registry will go to Hearst’s charity, Friends of Finn, which seeks to put an end to puppy mills. The committee works with the Humane Society of America with chapters in New York and San Francisco. Since its inception, Friends of Finn has raised over $1.5 million for its cause.
