Life is ruff, but sometimes it’s not so bad and you get to enjoy the simple pleasure of watching a little Frenchie boogie and bop along with Wham.
Lovin a bit of wham
The dancing Frenchie in question is 2-year-old Minnie, who lives in Dublin, Ireland, with her mom and dad Jeff and Lesley Anne Wynne, and her canine sister Molly — who you can see wandering in and crashing the dance party, toward the end.
The internet has been gaga over Minnie since her humans posted the video above to Facebook. But there’s more going on here than a dancing pup.
Minnie has a neurological condition that causes her to go into what Jeff describes as a “trance.”
“Sometimes you could stand in front of her calling her and she will not come out of it, and sometimes like the video it’s a bit lighter and she snaps in and out,” Jeff explains.
Minnie is under the care of a specialty veterinarian who, Jeff says, promises that she is healthy.
“And very happy. She has a great life,” he says. “Has her tantrums when she doesn’t get her own way — but sure, don’t we all.”
So dance like nobody’s watching, Minnie — except we definitely are. Thanks for brightening our week!
