Great Dane Service Dog Gives One Little Girl The Power To Stand On Her Own

https://youtu.be/lqgnV7qq3oI

Bella Burton has Morquio Syndrome, an extremely rare disorder that makes it very difficult for the 43 pound 11 year old to walk on her own. That’s where her 131 pound best friend George, a Great Dane, comes in.

In lieu of using crutches or a wheelchair, Bella uses George for mobility independence. George and Bella fell in love when the little girl visited the Service Dog Project. The organization specifically trains Great Danes as mobility service dogs. George’s connection to Bella was instant and the two are inseparable.

We’re so glad these two cuties found each other. We know they’re going to have lots of fun adventures together.
