Jill captured the Dobie’s heartbreak on video and shared it on Facebook. It soon went viral.
This video will break your heart.I was at Carson shelter videotaping dogs when I heard a dog crying and saw a man dragging his Doberman toward the intake area. You can see the fear on the Dobie's face as the owner tries shoving him into the intake cage.As you'll see if you watch the video, I asked the owner why he was surrendering such a beautiful dog. "He's not as active as he used to be," the owner mumbled, explaining it as if reciting the weather report. The dog had been in the hot car as the owner was filling out the paperwork.See the subsequent video of the dog being wheeled into the back of the shelter.I could use this post to grandstand about how dogs aren't disposable, and how they suffer and feel fear. Or I could post the video and you can simply see his face.I will post more information on this boy as I have it.#adoptdontshop

Jill asked the 9 year-old pup’s owner why he was leaving him behind. He said that “he’s not as active as he used to be.” No one knows what this lovable boy’s name really is because his owner left before Jill could get it.
The shelter has renamed him Tyson and his story is already on its way to a happy ending.
After only two days, and thousands of Facebook views, Tyson was taken in by a foster family. After getting him to the vet, they discovered that the Dobie has a spinal condition and will need extensive medical care.
