“Joker” Puppy Finds Forever Home With New Superhero Family

After what could possibly be the quickest and cutest adoption turnover in Tampa Bay history, 2-month-old Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix Joker, who garnered a significant amount of attention online for his Joker-esque facial markings and subsequent appropriate name, has found a forever home in record time.

When the Humane Society of Tampa Bay posted a picture of Joker as the #PetOfTheDay on their Facebook page early last week, it didn’t take long for a Reddit user to repost the picture and send the web into a frenzy.

Dog lovers, Batman aficionados, and casual internet users alike went crazy over this precious pooch’s unique markings. People flocked to submit online adoption applications for Joker, with some applications coming from out of state and even out of the country.

With so much interest pouring in about the adorable puppy, it came as no surprise when he was taken in by a family within a matter of days.

Although no information has come in about who Joker’s lucky new humans are, we can only hope it’s a family with the prestige greater than or equal to the likes of BatDad and his Pit Bull mix, who will be waiting to take on Joker when he grows into a fully-fledged supervillan adorable, massive dog.
