Little Girl Recreates Stuffed Animal Scene From E.T. With Her Adopted Stray Dog

It’s hard to imagine that the dog in the stuffed animal pile above was once a stray living in a pile of trash in Afghanistan. But that was the story of Snickle Fritz, an Afghan Kuchi rescued by Marine Raiders and brought to the United States with the help of Puppy Rescue Mission. Now she lives in Australia with her humans, including one very small human she loves very, very much.

Recently, the small human recreated one of the most famous scenes in movie history – perhaps unintentionally? – by surrounding Snickle Fritz with every stuffed animal she owns. It was an almost too adorable display of human/canine affection, one that doubled as really good stand-in for Where’s Waldo.

If you want to see more of the so-called “regular things” that Snickle Fritz gets up to “that are only extraordinary when you consider [she’s] a stray dog from a country of war,” make sure to follow her Facebook page. And check out this great video of Snickle Fritz getting beyond excited about greeting her little human after school.
