When rescue group Hope For Paws responded to a call about a stray pup hiding in a hospital’s parking lot, rescuer Eldad Hagar found a terrified Maltese-Poodle mix who had obviously spent some time living on the streets. When he approached her, she used her survivor skills to stay out of his reach, and he had to return later that night to sneak up on her. Thankfully, she never saw him coming.
After some ruv and a much-needed bath, Oakley is now looking good as new and is a sweet pup who just needs to find her forever family.
Oakley, pictured on the left with her pal, is now up for adoption at Maltese Rescue California.
