Rescue Cat Without Eyes Finds The Perfect BFF In A Unique Eyed Pit Bull

Sherry Stewart and her 14-year-old daughter have been fostering animals from the Faithful Friends Animal Society for the past three years. In that short time they have provided love and shelter to more than 80 dogs and cats on their paths to their furever homes. They recently became hosts to a unique trio of cats. All have undergone surgery to have their eyes removed.

Bruce and Willis are kittens who lost their eyes due to infection. Helen, 7 years old, was rescued by the shelter after a man called threatening to kill her if she was not removed from his property. Helen was emaciated, flea-ridden and suffering from severe Glaucoma which led to the removal of her eyes.

All three cats have made full recoveries and lead ┬ásurprisingly normal feline lives despite their “handicap.” The kittens are extremely playful and bonded to one another. They will soon be put up for adoption together on the Faithful Friends website. Helen was quite timid at first, but has now forged an unlikely friendship with one of the family’s two Pit Bulls.

Alfie and Frankie are both rescued Pibbles from difficult backgrounds. Alfie suffered abuse and Frankie was covered in mange and infected sores prior to being rescued. Although both dogs are gentle and loving to all the cats, Frankie has grown especially fond of Helen.

The 4-year-old white and brindle Pit mix with the striking eyes (one blue, one brown) spends his days snuggling and licking his kitty BFF. A potential adopter has expressed interest in Helen, but until she moves on to her forever home, Frankie will be there to love, protect, and care for her. Check out this quirky little family in action!
