**Update: March 15, 2016**

Following his rescue by the non-profit Hope for Paws, Veyron is living large with his brand new family. Even when he was homeless and frightened beside a busy freeway in Compton, this boy never did anything but peer at his rescuers with those big eyes.

Now he’s still as sweet as can be. Veyron takes trips to the beach, swims in his pool, plays with his big doggie sis, and looks cute 24/7.

Congrats, Veyron! And a great big thank you to Hope for Paws for rescuing this sweet muffin.

#####

Eldad and Lisa, two of the amazing hoomans at Hope for Paws, got a call about a homeless Pit Bull living off of the side of a freeway. They were able to draw the frightened Pittie close to them with treats, but when they tried to catch him, he ran. After several attempts, the dog got dangerously close to the freeway. Eldad and Lisa were both afraid that he would jump into traffic.

What happens next? Well, you’ll have to watch the video above to find out!
