Just over a month ago, six-year-old pups Daisy and River were rescued from their home due to concerns over a lack of proper veterinary care. River, a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier, is visually-impaired but can still see slightly in both eyes.
Though their cruelty case is still open, these two are safe with the Pennsylvania SPCA and, according to Public Relations and Marketing Direct Gillian Kocher, “simply couldn’t be any sweeter and more friendly.”
River and Daisy are the epitome of a bonded pair and need to find a rescue, foster, or adoptive home together, as they would be very upset if split up. Lucky for the humans who fall in love with them, they’ve already “put the past behind them” and are enjoying life like every dog should.
Says Kocher, “They are looking to find the perfect home together where they can lean on each other and find the love of a new family.” Daisy has protected her little friend for a long time, and she doesn’t plan to leave her on her own any time soon.
If you think you can handle all the love and cuteness these two offer, please email Foster & Rescue Coordinator Kelsie Kelly at [email protected] for additional information. You can find their adoption profiles here.
