The only thing the canine Prince impersonators are missing is some raspberry berets – and that’s probably just because the shelter volunteers who finagled the pupparoos into their fancy getups “weren’t able to find one,” explains Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter volunteer coordinator Jen Huettich.
“I personally haven’t seen a raspberry beret since 1985!”
Yep, these shelter dogs are paw-tying like it’s 1999.
Jen tells BarkPost that the the Prince photo shoot – which was done “in honor of Prince, a talented artistwho will be greatly missed” – is just one of the many ways that the shelter shows how fun and fabulous their doggies are.
And how much fun you’d have if you adopted one of them (or, you know, a couple).
You don’t have to be rich to adopt these dogs. Ain’t no particular sign they’re more compatible with.
They just need you to come on down to the shelter during normal business hours to fill out an adoption application.
And, of course, your kisssssss.
(As well as your peanut butter.)
