Below is the story of Raffi and Ben, two pups in Philadelphia. They don’t actually live in Bel Air, but just go with us for the song’s sake, mmkay? ; ) Huge thanks to Amy and Leo for sending us the photos and story!
♫ In West Philadelphia, found as a stray, ♪
♪ Taken to the kill shelter, where I spent my days ♬
♫ Limpin’ and coughin’, green snot from my snout… ♬ Fearing that my time was about to run out–
♫ When a new volunteer who was up to some good, applied to be my foster in her neighborhood! ♪
♪ Met my new fam there ♫ first Labradoodle then cat,
♫ and said to them all ♬
♬ ♪ “This is a hell-of-a pack!” ♬
♪ We pulled up to the house in ’bout five miles, ♫
♫ And when I arrived, My face hurt! From smiles! ♬
♫ dunna na na na, dunna na na na! ♫
♫ Doodle’s love has healed me ♪
♫And his love is strong-
♪ He’s my partner and my spooner, ♬
♫ The peanut butter ……
To my kong. ♫
