This is something no one ever says: There are many things that are stressful about summer barbecues! How long to grill the hot dogs? Will the homemade popsicles set in time? Should we play flip cup?
But there is one food, so necessary for summer, that is completely perfect. Easy to eat, beyond reproach, and at its best (at least where I’m from, corn ruvving Iowa) in July. Yes, it’s officially corn on the cob season, and I am its most vehement cheerleader. Well, almost.
This dog loves corn on the cob way more than me, and it’s awesome. Don’t believe me? Watch him chow down in record time.
