No One Is Safe In This Dystopian Doggy Music Video

Welcome to Bark After Dark, a series of hilarious but slightly unusual articles we post in the wee hours of the morning for you weirdos night owls. Not for the faint of heart, weak of stomach, or low of humor. Enjoy!

Watching the music video for Giraffage’s “Tell Me” is like a cruel joke because I just want someone to TELL ME what in the world is going on. What am I watching? How did I get here? Is everything going to be okay?!

Jealous of human’s access to freedom and fast food, dogs dream of a world where they too can ride bikes and binge on doughnuts. Earth collides with another planet that allows the dogs to take on human bodies. But they keep their dog heads because, well, why not? The dogs-cum-people live out their fantasies of being a wife, a work colleague, a man in a tank top, and a religious cult leader.

Ultimately, the dogs realize that being a human is hard, so they snap back into their doggy reality. They are not wrong– being a human is hard. It is especially difficult when you have a dog-baby birth seared into your memory for the rest of eternity… sorry.
