Dogs Cover Linkin Park’s “Numb” And It Sounds…Exactly The Same

Turns out my mom was right all along. Early-2000s alternative rock does sound exactly like animals shrieking at the wind. Linkin Bark’s rendition of the Generation Y anthem, “Numb,” is made up almost entirely of animal yelps, yet it is indistinguishable from the original song. Still, the video will give you a sizable dose of nostalgia.

Click play, close your eyes, and you’ll be back in your favorite baggy pants. You know, the black ones with the built-in wallet chain. You’ll be loitering outside of Hot Topic with a Happy Bunny pin on your messenger bag and some Auntie Anne’s pretzel grease on your chin. You’ll believe, with all of your angsty pubescent heart, that your parents will never *~understand.~* These dogs get it though. They totally get it…

But beware, if you did not spend all of 2003 dripping in mall malaise, this video will just give you a headache.

We hope you enjoyed tonight’s edition of Bark After Dark, the one-stop-shop for all your insane-in-the-canine, cuckoo-for-cocoa-ruffs, barking mad needs!
