Health benefits for your pup:

The omega fatty acids in peanut butter can help lower your dog’s cholesterol, it’s also a great natural cure for bad breath! Strawberries are a great source of fiber, vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants. Bananas have high levels of vitamin B, C and potassium, which aren’t typically found in the average dog food.

What you’ll need:

1/3 cup of all-natural oatmeal (no artificial flavors or additives)
1/2 banana
2 strawberries

For the batter, mix the oatmeal, banana and one egg in a blender until smooth. Use either a non-stick pan or organic coconut oil to make the pancakes. Boil the second egg and slice the strawberries for decorative purposes that your pup might not entirely appreciate, but will devour anyway.

Oatmeal is commonly used to help with digestive issues in dogs; it’s also high in fiber, iron, and vitamin B-6. Eggs are great for your pup’s healthy bones and teeth because their naturally occurring vitamin-D helps with absorbing calcium.

Whisk the egg and oatmeal together in a bowl with a fork until well-mixed. Add the chicken and carrots and continue whisking. Use a non-stick pan or organic coconut oil to make the patties. With a big spoon, scoop out the mixture and carefully place it on the pan, use the spoon to help make the patties circular. Cover the patties with a lid to make sure the oatmeal cooks throughly, then flip the patties evenly until they’re nice and solid.

Health benefits for your pup:

Sweet potatoes have the highest concentration of amino acids in the starch family. Amino acids help with your pup’s antioxidant activity and healthy muscles. Fully cooked and plain sweet potatoes are safe and fiber-packed for a healthy digestive system.

What you’ll need:

1/2 cup of oatmeal (plain)
For the cookies–
2/3 cup of pumpkin puree (canned, all-natural pumpkin)
1/4 cup of all-natural peanut butter
2 large eggs
3 cups of whole wheat flour (I used coconut)

2.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Using an electric mixer, mix the pumpkin puree, peanut butter and eggs for about two minutes. Then, slowly add in the flour until the dough stops being sticky. Using your hands, knead the dough until it comes together. I squeezed small pieces and shaped them into simple circles; you can flatten out the dough and use your pup’s favorite cookie cutter for a funner look! place the cookies in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes, until golden brown. For the oatmeal: mix the oatmeal with water in a bowl until all of it is completely submerged. Cook it in a microwave for about three minutes (open the microwave door halfway to make sure it doesn’t spill over). Let it cool before serving. Make sure to ask your pup if she wants the cookies in or beside the oatmeal!

“Alright look I’m smiling okay?! You happy?!”
