Get Your Paws on This Downloadable DIY Art

Hello, my dear dog ruvers! Have you ever had to explain your dog’s quirks to your house guests? The butt sniffs? The pogo stick jumps upon arrival? Non-dog hoomans never really seem to get how dog people work. I KNOW.
Tired of explaining my dog-loving ways and thinking about how much I adore the dog-crazy readers here at BarkPost, I thought I’d reward your loyal readership with a series of FREE, printable downloads that you can proudly customize, frame, and hang in your very own dog houses. Two birds one stone. Which, by the way, is the world’s WORST idiom. BarkPost does not condone throwing stones at birds, FYI. Doy.
Without further ado, Download #1:

After downloading your 8.5″ x 11″ artwork, customize it to fit your home! I chose to go with a soft color palette of grays, blues, and peach since it’s displayed with a grouping of other artwork.
You can color right over the light gray of the dog and match the colors to your own pooch, if you so desire.
Now my guests will understand that the dog hair is intentional. 😉
Because the artwork is downloaded at a standard 8.5″ x 11″ size, you can either trim it to fit an 8″ x 10″ frame or leave it full size to tape behind a matted frame, like I did below.

I have two tips for printing: One, don’t check the box that says “fit to page.” Just print that sucker out as is. Also, if your printer is less than fancy, print it with the “black and white” setting checked for crisp lines. Oh yeah, and I’ll add a third tip… ENJOOOY! Have fun with it and feel free to link up in the comments with your finished artwork. We’d love to see what you guys come up with!
Stay tuned for more downloads coming your way!
