“All we know is it was a Labrador,” says Police Commander Dan Schisel.
Foiled again, thought the dog, probably. Let’s be reasonable.
David Stegora at the Kwik Trip in Mankato, Minnesota could not for the life of him figure out how this semi-truck drove through a parking lot, across a street, up onto the curb, into a tree, and into some poor fellow’s car. There was no one in the driver’s seat.
Stegora tells the Mankato Free Press:
I heard the tree snap and I thought somebody decided to turn around, but then it just kept going forward.
That’s because Labradors don’t give up, Mr. Stegora. When a passerby finally jumped in the truck to hit the brakes, he found the pup sitting casually at the helm.
The consequences for the (human) driver and the dog are unclear at this point, though the Lab has probably had his license revoked.
