I’m a self-proclaimed lazy person. I find ways to keep my life as low-key as possible when I’m home. I’m sure everyone can relate to it.

At the end of a hard day’s work there’s nothing more satisfying than livin’ the sloth-pup life. So to make it easier for all of us puppers, here’s a list of hacks that’ll give you so much more time to just be lazy.

1. Brushing your dog’s teeth.

It’s vital for your pup’s oral health. But it can be quite an ordeal to get in there and actually brush their teeth WELL. The alternative? Try BARK Bright: it’s a two-step cleaning system that enhances the naturally-occurring enzymes in your dog’s mouth to supercharge the cleaning process. We love how effective it is at freshening breath and conquering plaque and tartar, the gnarly culprits behind periodontal disease!

2. Fresh breath.

Throw some parsley snippets into their food and say bye-bye to evil kibble breath!

3. Laundry beds.

Use a mesh laundry bag with a zipper to stuff any extra laundry into it and repurpose it as a temporary dog bed! Your dog will love it, because comfort + their human’s scent surrounding them = one happy doge.

4. Pup playtime.

Tired after a long 9 to 5 but your pup’s raring to go? Tie a rope toy to your foot so your dog does all the work!

5. Pup playtime 2.

Hide treats around the house so you’re dog runs around looking for them while you do your best impression of a couch potato while watching your programs. 😉

6. Fast eaters.

Throw a ball into their food bowl! It’ll slow down chowing significantly, reducing chances of you having to clean up your dog’s barf (or worse having to take ’em to the ER for choking).

7. Grooming.

For a quick brush, give them a light rub down with NATURAL dryer sheets. (You don’t want your pup to have an allergic reaction to the chemicals in the non-natural ones). Disclaimer: Always, always check the product labels for product contents. You only want to use the safest stuff for your furry friends.

8. Thunderstorm soothing.

During storms, it’s not the sound that scares them as much as the static caught between their fur! So use dryer sheets to soothe them and well, calm down that static hair!

9. Dog parks.

Don’t wanna go out? Bring the park to you and have puppy play dates at your place!

10. Fur cleanup.

Do you spend more than half your time home vacuuming up your pup’s fur than actually being able to relax at home? Take a squeegee or wet your rubber gloves to collect all that fuzz in less than half the time!

Can’t find time to trim those claws nails? You can train your pup to use a scratch post just like cats!

12. Noms Time.

For a mess free pour when you’re feeding your dog kibble, use a pitcher or a plastic cereal storage box that you can buy at the dollar store!
