Well-Dressed Pugtender Wants To Teach You The Art Of Making Cocktails

Ever wonder what a day in the life of a Pugtender would be like? Well, let me tell ya, it’s not all cocktails and bowties. Okay, maybe it is but it can also be ruff. It can be exhausting trying to keep up with all the peanut butter treats and belly rubs. And lets not even get into choosing the perfect Pugtender outfit!

As they say, “clothes make the Pug”, and in this case they’re making the cocktails too. Because next to chasing squirrels there is nothing more satisfying than making cocktails to match your bowtie. So break out those cocktails glasses and get ready for 3 pugtastic cocktails featuring blackberries!

You Will Need:

Boston strainer
Julep strainer
Coco strainer
Cocktail shaker
Barspoon
Muddler

Pugtender Prepping
 
Now that we’ve got our supplies ready, let’s roll up those sleeves and get those paws to muddling!

Blackberry Vodka Collins

2 oz Vodka
3/4 oz lemon
3/4 oz simple syrup
3 to 5 fresh blackberries
Club soda

In a shaker muddle blackberries with lemon and simple syrup, add  vodka and ice. Shake well. Serve on the rocks and top with club soda.

Pugtender Blackberry Vodka Collins
 
Blackberry French 75

1.5 oz Gin
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
4 blackberries=
Champagne

In a shaker filled with ice, pour gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and blackberries. Shake well. Strain into champagne flute, top with champagne and garnish with a lemon twist.

Pugtender Blackberry French 75
 
Blackberry Mojito

2 oz white rum
1 lime
1/2 oz simple syrup
6 mint leaves
4 blackberries
club soda

Muddle mint and simple syrup in a mixing glass. Squeeze juice from lime into mixing glass and add rum and ice. Stir and pour everything into glass and top with club soda.

Be sure to take plenty of naps so you don’t wear yourself out. And remember, when Pugtending, moderation is key!
