Good news for the approximately 500 Ypsilanti Township dog owners in the Lake Shore Apartments, as they have just launched a less stressful way to let pet-loving residents scrub their pups clean.
This air-conditioned laundromat is a mere 104 square foot standalone box that offers everything residents need to turn their dirty pup into a spiffy canine. It’s located right next to the complex’s bark park, where puppers and their humans can enjoy some off-leash fun in the sun.
Pups who use the pet wash after a muddy romp with their buddies are sure to come out nice and shiny. After their bath is done, lucky resident dogs can chow down on a peanut butter and honey treat for just a dollar.
Right now, pet owners have to buy $5 tokens at the management office, allowing them to use the laundromat for 7 1/2 minutes per token, and dog owners can use credit cards right at the wash so they can sud up their pup more conveniently.
Everyone who uses it can then post a picture to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #thelakeshoreaptsypsi
