Some of us might have donned a cap and gown this year for our own graduations, but the cutest graduate of 2016 is Pavlov the Corgi:
Dog parents and UCLA alumni Anthony Osuna and Elayne Tram Nguyen decided to bring him along for a whirlwind eight week college experience at the university that was such a huge part of their lives (Anthony works in a research lab on campus). They documented his short stint as an adorable college student and shared the journey with his followers on Instagram.
Pavlov became well acquainted with the UCLA campus during his time as the fluffiest student there. In an email to Mashable, Osuna and Tram gave their reasons for giving their pup the ultimate college experience:
Since this is our last year on campus, we really wanted to both share UCLA with Pavlov and Pavlov with the UCLA community
Does the name “Pavlov” ring a bell? Both of this fluffbutt’s humans graduated with Psychology degrees, and appropriately named him after famous psychologist Ivan Pavlov, who was well known for his work in classical conditioning.
At the end of the year, Elayne had the all-important graduation photoshoot and decided to celebrate by adding Pavlov. He sported the appropriate cap and gown for a Bruins graduate.
Now as a college grad it looks like Pavlov is enjoying the post college life!
