A few months ago, residents of Soriano, Uruguay saw a female dog howling at the entrance of a narrow drainpipe. People soon realized that the dog’s puppies were trapped inside the pipe, likely washed into it as a result of a recent flood. The rescue would not be easy as the tiny dogs were at least 15 feet inside of the pipe. On top of that, the pipe was extremely narrow. One woman bravely volunteered to crawl inside.
To make sure she got out safely, she tied ropes to her legs so that other Good Samaritans could pull her and the puppies back above ground. There’s no footage of the woman crawling into the pipe, but I imagine it was a difficult. One look at that pipe and I’m ready to have an anxiety attack and I’m not even claustrophobic.
This fearless woman acted as if climbing in there was second nature to her. While inside the pipe, she wrapped the pups into a bag to make sure that they were unharmed during the rescue.
Respect for this womanUnbelievable what this woman did
