9 B&Bs in New York for Dog Lovers

For those occasions when you want to feel more at home on vacation, staying at a bed-and-breakfast is a great alternative to traditional hotels. Not only are bed-and-breakfasts homey, but several are also dog friendly, which means you won’t have to leave your dog at home when you take your next trip.

If you’re ever planning a trip to the Empire State, check out these B & Bs that accommodate four-legged guests.

1. The Arnold House, Livingston Manor

When you aren’t taking advantage of the spa and lake house, run through the meadows and into the pond with your dog at the Arnold House, a 7-acre retreat in the western Catskills. It’s an extra $25 per night to have your dog, but the Arnold House makes it entirely worth it, providing your pup with a dog bed, food bowls, housemade treats and a parting gift upon checkout. BarkPost recently filmed a video at the Arnold House and can personally vouch for the friendliness of the staff and the dog-friendliness of the property!
